Every mover is being sold AI right now, so it is worth being precise about what you are being sold. EDC launched MERCED in May 2025, onto a product line their company has been building since 2001. What it does, in their words, is read documents and weight tickets, compose emails, summarise long notes and conversations, translate speech and generate reports. All of that helps the person at the desk get through the day faster. The day is still theirs.
Enzo starts from the other end. You give it a job, and a limit. It can watch and say nothing, suggest and wait for you, or run it on its own, and you choose which of those applies to each capability. Everything it does is on the record: what it did, when, why, and who approved it. If it gets one wrong, one click puts it back, and the correction sticks for your shop. That is a different question from whether the AI is clever. It is whether you can actually hand it something.

What is the difference between Enzo and EDC's MERCED?
What you can hand over. By EDC's own description, MERCED reads documents and weight tickets, drafts emails, summarises notes, translates speech and builds reports. Those are things that help the person doing the work go faster. Enzo is built to take the work: chasing a follow-up, reconciling an invoice, flagging a move whose margin has moved, catching a dispatch clash. You set how far it goes on each capability, from watching to running it on its own, and every action is logged and reversible. One makes your team quicker at the admin. The other means less of the admin reaches your team.
Is this the same EDC as the moving company in Texas?
No. This page compares Moveezi with EDC, the software vendor at edcus.com, whose flagship product is EDC-MoveStar. EDC Moving Systems in Houston and Carrollton, Texas is a separate and unrelated business: an Atlas Van Lines agent that moves people, not a software company.
Does Moveezi connect to DPS?
Not directly. Moveezi generates the DD-1299 and twelve more DoD forms straight from the order record, with rank and entitlements carried through, so the paperwork is right the first time rather than retyped and corrected. EDC has run a two-way DPS interface, EasyDPS, for years. If practically all of your revenue arrives through DPS, weigh that. If DPS is one channel alongside local, interstate, international, corporate and RMC work, the rest of this page is where the difference shows up.
EDC says their AI keeps your data in-house. What about Moveezi?
Fair question, and the answer is published rather than promised on a call. Customer data is hosted in Australia by default and in the United States for customers who elect it. Moveezi is ISO 27001 certified and built to NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC. The named sub-processor list is provided to customers under the agreement, and we give at least 30 days' notice before any addition or replacement so you can object. Ask for that list during evaluation and hold it against ours; we would rather you checked than took anyone's word for it.
What does EDC-MoveStar cost?
EDC does not publish pricing. Ours is on the pricing page in four currencies: local from $69 a month with no minimum, interstate and international at $28 per won move on the entry tier.
Which is better for international moves?
It depends where your files start and finish. EDC is a United States company whose depth is in US domestic and government work. Moveezi is built around moves that cross borders and modes as the normal case: sea, air, road and rail on one record, the agent at each end working the same file, RMC and corporate accounts, multi-currency throughout. If most of your work is US domestic, that difference will not decide it. If you are handling origin and destination in different countries every week, it will.
