Video survey
Survey the home over video. Build the estimate while you are on the call.
Send a link, walk the house together, and add what you see to the estimate as the customer shows you. No driving across town, no app for them to install, and no re-typing a page of notes when you get back to the office.
This workspace is a working demo. Select a room and watch what was captured in it.
A day of driving for one survey. Or a guess over the phone.
The in-home survey is accurate and it costs you half a day, two tanks of fuel and a customer who has to take time off work. The phone estimate is fast and it is a guess, which you find out on move day when the truck is too small and the price was wrong. Most companies pick one and live with the damage. Video survey is the third option: you see the house, and you are back in the office in twenty minutes.
The call
They click a link. That is the whole setup.
The customer does not create an account, install an app or work out which meeting tool you use. They tap a link on the phone in their hand and start walking you through the house.
Nothing to install
A link or a short meeting code opens the call in their browser. The one person you cannot ask to configure anything is the customer.
Bring in whoever matters
Share the call with a colleague, a second decision maker or a specialist for the piano. More than two people can be on it.
They actually turn up
An email reminder the day before and a text an hour out. Booked surveys stop quietly becoming no-shows.
Scheduled around your team
Book against real consultant availability, on a calendar and a map, with a diary invite the customer can accept.
The capture
The estimate is built during the call. Not after it.
Every item you add while the customer is showing you the room goes straight onto the real estimate on their lead. When you hang up, the pricing is already there. There is no notebook to transcribe and nothing to remember.
Room by room
Work the house the way you walk it. Each room keeps its own items, notes and photos, so nothing gets attributed to the wrong end of the job.
Volume and weight as you go
Items come from your catalogue with their own cubic and weight, so the total is adding up live rather than being estimated at the end.
Grab the shot that matters
Capture a still from the call for the narrow staircase, the marble top or the damage that was already there. It stays on the record.
Enzo listens while you talk
Enzo follows the conversation on the call and suggests inventory items as they are mentioned, so the thing the customer said in passing does not fall off the list. It prompts on the details that cost you money when they surface on move day instead: stairs and lift access, parking and truck approach, the piano, the safe, the high-value pieces. Enzo works from what is said on the call, so say it out loud and it is captured. Available as an add-on.
The recording
Go back to the moment. Not to your memory of it.
The call is recorded and kept, so the survey is not one person's recollection three weeks later. When the claim, the dispute or the "we never agreed that" arrives, the answer is on file with a timestamp.
Rewatch any survey
The recording sits on the job with the inventory it produced. Anyone who needs it can watch it, not just the rep who ran it.
Bookmarks that jump you there
Mark the moment on the call. Later, one click takes you to 01:48 and the piano conversation instead of scrubbing twenty minutes of footage.
Comment on the timestamp
Leave a note pinned to a moment in the recording, so operations can question the access at 04:20 rather than describe it in an email.
Kept as long as you need, then gone
Recordings are retained for 90 days by default and the window is yours to set. Keep them long enough to cover the claim period, and no longer than your privacy position allows. Consent is captured before recording starts, not assumed.
Why it matters
The survey decides whether the job makes money.
Every number downstream is built on it. Get the volume wrong and you have priced a job you cannot deliver at that price, with a truck that does not fit it.
Prefer to visit in person? Book it as a home visit and your consultant runs the same workspace on the same job, without the call.
