Shipment tracking

# "Where is my container?" Answered before they ask.

Sea, air, rail and road on one board, with the carrier's own milestones pulled in against the bill of lading. Send the customer a branded link and they can watch it themselves instead of emailing you every Tuesday.

Booked Draft

This board is a working demo. Select a shipment and see its milestones.

## The container is fine. The customer does not know that.

An international move is mostly waiting, and waiting with no information feels exactly like being forgotten. So the customer emails, and someone in your office opens the carrier's website, finds the bill of lading, reads a milestone, and writes it out in a reply. Repeat that across every shipment every week and you have paid a salary to be a search engine, while the customer still feels ignored.

The board

## Every shipment, whatever it is on. One place.

Sea, air, rail and road together, filtered how you actually work: by mode, by carrier, by exception, by what is arriving next.

### Multimodal in one view

A container, an air waybill and an interstate truck are all shipments on the same board rather than three systems and a spreadsheet.

### Quick Track anything

Paste a bill of lading, a container number or an air waybill and pull the shipment up, whether or not it is already on a job.

### Exceptions first, views saved

Customs holds and slipping ETAs surface as exceptions. Save the view you check every morning and it is there tomorrow.

### The detail underneath

Vessel and voyage, container size and seal, load and discharge ports, transshipment ports with their own arrival and departure times.

Carrier milestones

## The carrier's own data. Not somebody retyping it.

Refresh a shipment and its milestones come from the carrier feed against the bill of lading, container or air waybill, and land on the timeline in your own language.

### Milestones on a timeline

Gate in, loaded, departed, transshipped, arrived, discharged. The events arrive as the carrier reports them and read the same across every carrier.

### Ports, legs and the route

Load and discharge ports with their codes, the transshipment legs in between, and the route drawn on a map.

### Hand-entered when it has to be

Not every leg has a feed. Add a milestone yourself and it sits on the same timeline, so the customer sees one story rather than a gap.

### Tell them before they ask

Subscribers get an email when the milestones they care about happen, and you can send an update by email or text at any time. Every message sent about a shipment is logged against it, so the next person to pick it up can see what the customer has already been told.

The customer's view

## Send a link. Stop answering the email.

A tracking page in your branding, on your colours, with the map, the milestones and the name of the person looking after them. No login, no account, and it expires.

### Branded, and yours

Your logo and your accent colour, the progress of their move and who to talk to. It looks like your company because it is.

### Expires, and can be pulled

The link runs out on its own and you can revoke it at any time. Sharing a shipment is not a permanent hole in your data.

### They subscribe themselves

The customer opts in for updates from the page. Nobody in your office has to add them to anything.

### The shipment is the move

The container on this board is carrying the inventory your crew packed, on the job your team quoted, against the storage account it will land in. Tracking is not a separate product bolted to the side. For your own trucks and truck-legal routing, that is [fleet tracking](https://www.moveezi.com/fleet-tracking), which is a different question with a different answer.

Why it matters

## Nobody complains about a long trip. They complain about silence.

The move takes six weeks whatever you do. What decides whether they recommend you is whether they felt informed for those six weeks or abandoned.
